FIREWORKS CANCELLED!!!
We regret to announce that this year's fireworks have been cancelled due to the forecasted thunderstorms on Saturday, July 2. This was not an easy decision. We consulted with The Franklin Police, Fire Department and American Thunder (fireworks company). All agreed there was no way to safely set up and launch the fireworks show with the threat of lightning. Given the amount of time required for setup and preparations, we see no alternative.
Unfortunately, there is no rain date for this event. We will try to figure something out in the next few months, but there is nothing scheduled currently.
We understand this is unfortunate, but we hope you can still enjoy the Festival.
